SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Publish your story with us!

We are looking for your best work! We are primarily looking for creative non-fiction at this time, but we will consider some meaningful poetry and even a compelling short story. If you are submitting fiction, please specify this fact and provide a brief explanation as to why it fits our project. For non-fiction we do allow you to remain anonymous if you request this or to be published under a pseudonym.

More guidelines:

This project is about reconnecting us through sharing our experiences of how we have coped with trauma or watched those we love cope with it. It doesn't have to specifically be addiction, but addiction stories are also more than welcome. We want to collect as many stories as possible. Not all will be published, and some will be used in our blog if they are well-written but don't make the cut for the next book.

Keep submissions to about 3,000-5,000 words or less.

We will also take some well done video submissions, art pieces, or even music, but be please provide a cover letter defining these pieces.

Where your work and support goes:

Donations will go towards the creation of the project, and towards the charity, To Write Love on Her Arms.

All contributors who are chosen will receive an ebook of the finished project. Top contributors and those who give substantial donations will receive a paperback version as well.
